Phillip Morgan Memorial Pony Challenge
The Phillip Morgan Pony Challenge is sponsored by Southern AgCredit, and named in memory of their former CEO. Phillip Morgan was a staunch supporter of horse rescue and the equine industry. He firmly believed in the importance of encouraging youth participation in all aspects of agricultural, equine and outdoor pursuits because the strength and growth of those lie with the youth that will one day steer the future.
The Pony Challenge, featuring 26 Youth and Open Amateur Trainers, will take the spotlight in the arena on Friday & Saturday, May 15th & 16th, immediately following the Heart of the Horse Trainers Challenge classes.
Many of these ponies have been adopted by their young trainers. Please check here for ponies that will be available for adoption to approved bidders in the Safe Horse Auction on May 16th.
