Heart of the Horse is proud to offer Match Maker Clinics across Mississippi!

These clinics are designed to help current horse owners that want to develop clear communication in the daily training and handling of their horse, as well as to help people who are interested in adopting a horse or buying a horse from a private seller. The more you know, the greater your chances of finding the right horse. You can bring your own horse, use one of the trainer's, or you can try out one of the adoptable horses from MS Horses! The number of paid participants in each clinic will be small so that each person receives quality instruction from the clinician, but auditors are welcome to attend at no charge. These events will also help you become more familiar with trainers available in our region, many of whom will be participating in the Heart of the Horse Trainers Challenge finals on May 15 - 17, 2025, at the Kirk Fordice Center in Jackson. You may even meet their Challenge Horse partner that will be available for adoption in the Safe Horse Auction immediately following the awards ceremony at the Trainers Challenge on Saturday, May 17. It may seem far away, but May 2025 will be here before you know it!
