Application for Donation of Horse from private Owner

Private Owners who wish to donate their untrained equine to become a Challenge horse should fill out this application form. The equine must be between the ages of 3-12 years, sound, in good health, current on vaccinations and have a current (within 3 months) negative Coggins.  We reserve the right to have the equine examined by our veterinarian prior to acceptance. Application does not guarantee selection into the program, as there are a limited number of equine needed for the Heart of The Horse (HOH) Trainers Challenge.  Any private owner who's equine is accepted will be asked to sign a surrender agreement to Mississippi Horses Rescue, and the equine will be made available for adoption to an approved home at the conclusion of the Heart of the Horse Expo & Trainers Challenge and will be protected under the MHR protection umbrella for the duration of it's life.
